Benefits Enrollment is from November 16 to November 30. The benefits you elect will be effective January 1, 2023. If you plan to cover a spouse or domestic partner or child(ren), be prepared to submit the date of birth and Social Security number for each covered dependent during the enrollment process. Sysco will conduct a verification of data after enrollment ends, and Alight’s Dependent Verification Center will request documentation from you. You can find additional details about the verification process here.
Full-time, active colleagues in the U.S. are eligible for Sysco's group benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, long-term disability and flexible spending accounts). You may also cover certain family members, including your legal spouse (unless otherwise required by law) or domestic partner, and your dependent child(ren). Learn more here.

Transition of Care services are available if you are currently in an active course of treatment that will be disrupted due to a change in your medical plan. Some examples include a scheduled surgery, pregnancy or ongoing treatment for a serious illness or certain behavioral health conditions. Transition of Care services allow you to continue to work with your current care team for a designated period of time.
To initiate Transition of Care coverage, you will need to complete a transition of care form that you can find here.
Many of your benefits are administered by Aetna. Aetna has one of the largest networks in the country, with 1.2 million health care professionals, over 690,000 primary care doctors and specialists and over 5,700 hospitals.
It’s important to make sure your medical, dental, behavioral health and other current providers are in the Aetna network before you begin using your benefits.

Sysco provides options to help you secure your financial future.
You are already enrolled in the 401(k) at a contribution rate of 3% of eligible pay. Sysco automatically contributes 3% of your pay to your account every pay period, and for each dollar you contribute, Sysco matches it with 50 cents, up to 6% of your pay. The online Benefits Guide provides a comprehensive overview of eligibility, enrollment, contributions and vesting.
The Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) gives you ownership in the company by offering Sysco stock for purchase at a 15% discount. You will receive information directly from Fidelity on how to enroll. After you enroll and the Offering Period begins, a percentage of your pay is deducted from your paychecks and used to purchase an equivalent amount of discounted Sysco stock in quarterly Offering Periods. See the online Benefits Guide for more information.
Take advantage of these resources to get the most out of your Sysco benefits.
We believe in making it simple for you and your family to access and use your benefits, so we provide many of your benefits through Aetna or an Aetna preferred carrier. We hope you take full advantage of the information available to help make sound decisions for you and your family.
