If you leave Sysco, your benefits will term as of your last day of employment, however premiums will be paid through the end of the pay period. You should receive a Notice of COBRA Continuation within 30 days and will have the option to enroll in COBRA coverage for certain benefits.
The Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) allows for you and your enrolled dependents to maintain your health insurance after you leave Sysco. You will be responsible for the full premium and will need to enroll in coverage via the Sysco Benefits Center within 60 days.
